Campus Corner Early Learning Centre INC. opened in April 1989. The building is owned by the Nelson-Marlborough Institute of Technology.
Campus Corner Early Learning Centre provides quality care and education for children from six months up until they start attending school.
We are licensed for 28 Young Children (over 2's) and nine Infants & Toddlers (under 2's) at any one time.
We have separate play areas which are, at times, integrated during the day when appropriate or when the children are showing interest.
Opening Hours
We are open from 7.45am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday
The Centre is closed statutory holidays and for a short time over the Christmas break.
Fees
Campus Corner offers competitive rates, including discounted rates for NMIT (Nelson-Marlborough Institute of Technology) Staff and Students and 20 hours free ECE for children three and over. Please contact us to discuss your childcare requirements.
Fees can be paid by automatic payment/bill payment directly into the Centre’s bank account. Cash payments can be made at the office.

NMIT Students/Staff $6.75 per hour
Community $7.50 per hour
Full-time Rate $270.00 per week
Fee's include:
Morning tea and afternoon tea.
Nappy Wipes
Gumboots and wet weather jackets for rainy days!
Sunscreen. If your child has an allergy to conventional sunscreen, please provide your own sunscreen.
Refundable Bond
Bookings will be secured with a payment of two weeks’ fees in advance, to be held as a bond or a minimum of $100 if required hours are not yet known. For any subsequent increase in hours this amount must be adjusted accordingly and paid in full before commencing increased hours. This money will be credited to your final account.
20 Hours Free ECE
All children aged three to six years old at our service are entitled to 20 hours free Early Childhood Education for up to 6 hours a day, 20 hours per week. For more information click the blue button below.
Childcare Subsidy
Childcare Subsidy may be available if you need and are entitled to extra hours on top of 20 Hours free ECE through WINZ.

All Day and Part Time Session Bookings
Permanent bookings starting between 9am and 3pm must be three hours or longer.
All bookings will commence no later than 9am during the morning or 1pm in the afternoon.
Permanent bookings of less than six hours per week may not be accepted and may be reviewed as required.
Priority wait list for NMIT students and staff.
Fees will be charged in 15-minute blocks.
